What are the most significant requirements and what do they meanfor daily workshop operation?
Requirements for A/C service units:

- The unit must be able to recover 95 % of the refrigerant containedin the automotive air conditioner within 30 minutes, at ambienttemperatures between 20 and 24 °C. In other words, no morethan 5 % of the refrigerant may be left in the air conditioner.
- Refrigerant must be charged with an accuracy of +/- 15 g after performing test.
- Refrigerant recovery must be made and displayed with an accuracy of +/- 30 g.
