On Thursday, the Pascua Yaqui Tribal Council and Casino Del Sol management announced the temporary closure of Casino Del Sol, Casino of the Sun, the Resort, and Estrella at Casino Del Sol effective Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 at 11 a.m.. The plan includes reopening to the public on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at 8 a.m.

Is Casino Del Sol Resort currently open? This property is closed from December 7 2020 to January 1 2021 (dates subject to change). What are the cleanliness and hygiene measures currently in. Casino Del Sol closes at 12am on Thursday, April 18th & re-opens at 8am on Monday, April 22nd for regular operating hours.
The first exceptions are Casino Del Sol, Casino of the Sun and Del Sol Marketplace. All three are owned and operated by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and closed down simultaneously on December 7. Meanwhile, the state’s COVID-19 modeling team have sent state leaders a letter urging a three-week shutdown and/or a statewide curfew. In observance of Tribal Ceremonies, Casino Del Sol will be closed March 29 - April 1, 2018. We will be re-opening on Monday, April 2 at 8am.
“Our experience with safety, distancing, and cleaning protocols, has been both positive and effective,” the organization announced on its website. “Yet we ask ourselves, what can we do as a part of this community to help slow the spread of the virus? The way we can help do that is by closing temporarily.
Sewailo Golf Club will remain open during this time. The Del Sol Marketplace will remain open with limited hours from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The RV Park will also remain open.
